Stop The World

In risk of showing my age, I feel that this modern technology is moving so fast that I can't keep up.
I often yearn for a simpler time when life went at a more leisurely pace, neighbours knew one another, and I used to get "proper letters" from friends that I could sit down, read and enjoy over a cup of coffee.
Sadly those days are gone and I must try to make an effort to "keep up".
Hope I make it

In an everchanging world we need to learn to keep up and this is what this programme is all about - discovering the new ways of communicating. Your blog is like an online journal where you record your experiences and share them with others. Looking forward to reading about your experiences.

Some years ago there was a show in London called "Stop the world I want to get off". I didn't see it, but if 'he' had got off then he surely wouldn't have floated off into cyberspace as we know it today. So I wonder what made 'him' want to get off then. Perhaps you've seen the show and can enlighten me.
